Dora Papillon is an Afro-pop artist who began gaining attention in 2025 through his participation in the Orange Music Talents program, where his performances helped push his name into wider recognition.
He officially started making music in 2023, first building his craft in his neighbourhood through freestyle sessions. For him, music serves as a form of escape and personal expression. His inspirations include DJ Arafat, Himra, and Magic System, which can be felt in his direction.
Following his run on the talent program, he released his debut single “R.A.P.” on 26 December 2025, distributed by Orange via Sony Music Entertainment Africa. The track marked his formal introduction into contemporary African music and also features on the compilation “OMTS1 (La mixtape),” placing him alongside other artists from the platform.
DORA PAPILLON continues to develop his identity through new releases and collaborations, steadily building his presence within Afro-pop.
